Enriching your community library.

The ACLD Foundation has raised funds for community libraries since 2009.

These funds, raised from Alachua County community members like you, enhance the Alachua County Library District’s ability to enrich the lives of everyone in our community.

The Alachua County Library District is a public library system in North Central Florida, serving about 285,000 residents in Alachua County. It provides a wide range of services, including access to books, movies, music, research assistance, and various community programs, all for free to residents. The Headquarters Library serves as the main hub for library services and resources in the district. In addition to the Headquarters Library, the Alachua County Library District runs 11 branches throughout Alachua County.

The ACLD Foundation was founded to provide supplemental funding to the Library District with an emphasis on long-term support and planned giving. The Foundation’s major goal is to build an endowment that will provide funds for the Library District annually.
